What we process

• Purchase: email address, country and purchase details. Payment is handled by Paddle.com, which is the controller for the payment. We never receive your card details.
• Unlocking: a random identity per car, linked to your purchase, so your cars can be unlocked.
• Usage statistics: per car and day, how long the sound played, in which mode and with which engines, and the app version. Linked to the license when the car is unlocked. Helps us improve the app and can be turned off in Settings.
• Feedback and bug reports: what you write, your email if you want a reply, and if you choose so technical details (versions, browser, settings, sound and GPS status and recent errors, never position or speed).
• Position and speed: used only in the car's browser to create the sound. They are never sent to us.
• Technical logs: the server may temporarily log IP address and time for operations and security.

Why

To fulfil the purchase (contract), for bookkeeping (legal obligation) and for operations, security, support and improving the app (legitimate interest).

Storage

The service runs in Microsoft Azure within the EU. Purchase details are kept while the licence is valid and as required by bookkeeping rules. Usage statistics are kept for at most 13 months and feedback until the matter is closed. Logs are deleted within 30 days.

Cookies and tracking

We use no advertising or analytics cookies. This website only stores your language choice locally in your browser. Paddle's checkout may use its own necessary cookies when you pay.

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, and to complain to your data protection authority (in Sweden: IMY). Contact us at the address above.
